About Us
The Research and Development Center is an institute directly under the Ministry of Water Resources. To suit the requirements of water resources reform and development, it is formed according to “total emerging and restructuring” principle and by emerging the previous Policy Research Center, Information Research Institute, and the economic research portion of Comprehensive Development and Administration Center of the Ministry of Water Resources. The main responsibilities assigned by the Ministry to this Center are: research and decision consultancy on overall and comprehensive issues in respect of water resources development strategy, policy, economy, laws and regulations, provision of strategic support to water resources reform and development.
